Leopallooza festival is a multi-award winning, grass roots music festival held in the unique event venue, The Wyldes, hidden is a wooded valley just outside of Bude. Described as ‘the greatest house party… in a field’, Leopallooza celebrates new, up-and-coming and established bands, artists and DJ’s over the three day, family friendly festival.

The Bude Shoreline Triathlon has been running from Summerleaze Beach since 1991. Welcoming competitors from absolute beginners and first time triathletes, right through to national team athletes. The course includes a 500m swim in Summerleaze Bay, followed by a 11 mile cycle around Bude to Widemouth Bay and back,Modafinilhealth then a three mile run through Bude and along the canal.

The annual ‘no wetsuits’ swim is a refreshing way to celebrate Christmas. Join the locals on Crooklets beach at 11am on Christmas morning and help raise funds for the Bude Surf Life Saving Club.

This cycling event organised by Shoreline Extreme Sports consists of back-to-back hill climbs along the immensely hilly coastal road from Bude to Boscastle. The steep and sustained sloops with gradients of up to 30% are a challenge for even the best cyclists.
